Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba (ADAM) Provides self-help resources and programs for managing anxiety, including Coaching for Confidence and the Anxiety & Worry Support Program.
Anxiety Canada Contains strategies and tools for managing anxiety across the lifespan, along with resources for educators and links to podcasts. Highlights the free, Mindshift CBT app and online self-help anxiety courses. Mindshift CBT Group Therapy is also offered at a cost.
Building Emotional Awareness and Mental Health (The BEAM Program) A free, app-based program to promote family mental health and reduce parenting stress. Intended for primary caregivers of a 2 to 5 year-old child who are 18 years or older and experiencing depression, anxiety, parenting stress, and/ or anger.
Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) “CMHA provides advocacy and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive.” Along with resources, this website contains a registration hub for numerous free courses that can be taken virtually or in-person.
Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) Written resources, podcasts, webinars, and online community for children, parents, and adults with ADD/AHD as well as professionals and educators.
Cognitive Behaviroual Therapy with Mindfulness (CBTm) “CBTm is an education program designed to help you build your skill set and improve your mental wellness.” Register for free, virtual, CBTm programs for Adults (18+), Turning Pages (50+), Public Safety, Personal, Military & Veterans, Healthcare Workers, and CBTm in CancerCare.
Community Mental Health Relational Therapy (Couple & Family) Free counselling services for couple and families who reside in the Interlake-Eastern Regional Healthy Authority. Services are offered September through April of each year by senior clinical family therapy students completing their Masters degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy, under supervision.
DBT Self-Help Dialectical Behavioral Therapy resources that provide techniques to manage emotions, handle stress, and navigate life’s challenges.

Manitoba Farm & Rural Support Services Telephone and online counselling for anyone who lives on a Manitoba farm, or in a rural or Northern community.
Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) Innovative programs and tools to support the mental health and wellness of Canadians.
Mental Health Education Resource Centre of Manitoba Physical and electronic library with a collection of books, audio books, videos, journals, presentation kits, courses, and newsletters on various mental health and wellness topics. Free, but a membership is required to access library.
Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba Support, education, and advocacy for those living with mental health illnesses. Offers peer support along with programming for women, men, indigenous, postpartum support, disordered eating, youth, and seniors.
Rainbow Resource Centre Rainbow Resource Centre “Offers support to the 2SLGBTQ+ community in the form of counselling, education, and programming for individuals ranging from children through to 55+. It also supports families, friends, and employers of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.”
Selkirk & Interlake Mental Health Support Centre A centre that offers a drop-in community setting for adults with a lived experience.
Sexual Assault Recovery and Healing (SARAH) Program “Provides 24/7 crisis support, long-term counselling, support groups, advocacy, and referrals to those affected by sexual violence in Interlake-Eastern Manitoba.”
