Pre-employment Security Checks
Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority (RHA) strives to provide quality service to all clients. In recognition of this fact, an employee who makes direct contact with clients is in a position of public trust. We make every effort to ensure candidates’ suitability to provide services. Pre-employment security checks are conducted as part of the recruitment and selection process for all Interlake-Eastern RHA positions. The pre-employment security check includes:
- Criminal Records Check
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Child Abuse Registry Self Check
- Adult Abuse Registry Self Check
The applicant is responsible for obtaining pre-employment security checks at his/her own cost. Checks issued six (6) months prior to the employee’s start date will be accepted. All candidates applying for positions are advised that pre-employment security checks are a condition of employment.
