Falls Prevention

Falls can happen at any age, but older adults and children under 5 are the most likely to suffer a serious injury as a result of a fall.


What can we do to prevent falls and injury for ourselves and our loved ones?

Older Adults

  • NEW! Safe & Healthy Home for Seniors – Do you have difficulty accessing all areas of your home safely?  A grant funded by the Manitoba government and implemented by the March of Dimes provides up to $5,000 ($6,500 for remote areas) to eligible individuals for basic and essential accessibility solutions such as modular ramps, stair lifts, and zero threshold showers.
