IERHA CEO Marion Ellis attended an announcement by Seniors and Long-term Care Minister Scott Johnston about new personal care homes in Arborg, Stonewall, Lac du Bonnet and Oakbank in addition to two in Winnipeg. These beds mark a 50 per cent increase to our personal care home beds total for the region. As well a new community supportive living pilot was announced for highly specialized care for seniors with complex mental health or behavioral needs to have a safe, supportive environment.
