Holiday memory trees help mark loss of loved ones

During the season when so much focus is on family, it can be difficult for people who are grieving to feel like celebrating.

Interlake-Eastern RHA’s palliative care program, along with the help of companion volunteers, community groups and other RHA program staff, places trees in public locations across our communities each December. Card ornaments and grief resources for all ages are placed with each tree.

As of December 5th,  memory trees will be placed in locations across the Interlake-Eastern region. You are invited to honour the memories of your loved ones by placing card ornaments on memory trees set up in the following communities:

Pine Falls Health Complex
